UCEDC News - Annual Highlights

UCEDC, a non-profit economic development corporation, is dedicated to stimulating economic growth for small businesses in New Jersey. Since 1977, we have helped entrepreneurs open their doors, assisted established business owners expand into new markets, and offered technical support to the local business community.

We are mandated to create growth opportunities for all small business owners, and we do so by providing access to capital and government contracts, and we have worked with hundreds of business owners either in a classroom setting or one-on-one, all as part of our directive to foster local economic growth.

Our activities are having a positive impact on neighborhoods throughout the state - new businesses are opening, older businesses are growing, and local downtowns are reaping the rewards of these investments. All of this is part of our mission: creating opportunities for growth for all small business owners which results in local communities benefiting from new jobs, a stronger and more stable business climate, and an improved quality of life.
