UCEDC offers a variety of financing tools for small business owners.  We’ll work with you to find the best option for your situation.

The first step in getting the conversation started is our Loan Prequalification Form.  Please download the form, complete it and fax or email it back to us. One of our loan officers will contact you for more detail.

While your prequalification form is being processed, you may want to take a look at our various loan applications to get a better idea of the information requirements. These forms are provided for informational purposes only; you should not submit a complete application until you have talked with one of our loan officers.

Microloan application
Microloans are short-term loans to assist both start-up and existing businesses access capital.  UCEDC offers term financing from $500 to $50,000.

Business Growth Fund application
Financing up to $150,000 for businesses with at least two years operating history. 

First Steps Childcare Loan (Center Based) loan application
A loan program specifically for center-based childcare operations, both existing and start-up.

First Steps Childcare Loan (Home Based) loan application
A loan program specifically for home-based childcare centers, both existing and start-up.

Line of Credit
Exclusively for Union County businesses, the Line of Credit program offers start-up and existing businesses access to $5,000 to $15,000.
