These are the tough questions that every successful business owner has to answer.
Whether you’re just thinking about starting a business or have been in operation for a while, UCEDC’s Entrepreneurial Training Initiative offers you the skills, information and confidence you need to start, grow and thrive.
UCEDC is the entrepreneurial training arm of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), charged with helping start-ups and established businesses to position themselves for success with sound business practices.
We offer intensive six-week workshops throughout the year at various locations in New Jersey to provide practical, real-world guidance pegged to your business’s operational status.
If you’re just thinking about starting a business or are getting ready to launch, we have the program for you: Entrepreneurship 101: are you really ready to start your business?
Take a close look at your entrepreneurial readiness. Learn how to properly research and test the feasibility of your business ideas. And work with instructors on crafting a business plan.
Already in business, but not happy with the results? Or maybe you just want to kick things up a notch. Then Next Level Business Planning: take your business from surviving to thriving is the right choice.
Here’s where you’ll really dig in: you’ll be creating marketing plans, operational plans, financial projections and more. Update your strategies to meet current conditions and tomorrow’s trends.
Both programs share the same limited registration format to maximize interaction among participants and instructors. You’ll be working with your fellow entrepreneurs on case studies in the classroom and will build on that knowledge base with the help of your instructors outside of the classroom to craft a plan for your business.
Working with UCEDC opens the door to a wealth of resources and relationships that can help you boost your business. All participants will present their business concept/plan to a panel of independent business and subject matter experts for feedback and advice. We’ll introduce you to trusted vendors, partners and lenders in an array of critical business services.
Most importantly, you’ll receive free one-on-one mentoring services for a full year upon successful completion of the course. Got a question? Call, email or stop in for the answer. Want to bounce some ideas off of someone? We’ll be here.
Thanks to our partnership with the NJEDA, we’re able to offer our entrepreneurial training services at a fraction of what you would normally pay.
You get 18 hours of workshop instruction, additional instructor contact between classes, all class materials, introductions to business experts and lenders, and a full year of individualized mentoring – all for $225.00
Are you ready to invest in your business future?
